Digging the archives!
While the sun shone bright, I had to be inside a dark cellar to do research in the archives of an architectural firm. I felt so much self pity... The boxes were so dusty and dirty I looked like a cole miner at the end of the day. Luckily, I wasn't the only one in the archive so I had someone to relate to.
Being in an archive is such a weird thing. There is so much personal stuff you have to look into, sometimes you don't find anything interesting for hours and then, all of a sudden, there is something with a great story attached to it. Now it's my job to write that story down, but I'll do that tomorrow because, well, it's still work!
I had my old companion with me, quite an awesome compact camera. Although I recognize its weak points more than ever, I tried to do some creative shots inside of the archive. These are a few of the hundreds of boxes stacked there.
