A slice of Lesley's life

Big space

One of the things I love most about visiting this part of France is the bigness of the views. Allowing my largely city-based eyes to see bigger and wider and further than they mostly get to.

This was taken as we walked a section of an old Roman road which was thankfully partly shaded by trees and high and open enough to catch a breeze for part of the way.

I had a disturbed night with gastro troubles that left me feeling a little delicate and nursing a sore stomach for most of the day. Fortunately the kids had read the briefing memo and all four of them played really nicely this morning whilst our hosts () visited the MBH to do something or other (I was listening honest but I don't want to pre-empt soob's blip) and I lay on the sofa with a book.

Speaking of the sofa, Spiderman is on to help the recovery of the hot and weary after the walk and as that includes me, it's that way I head.
