A rough day

Why? Oh why did I have to feel bad today? The sun was shining, the sea was gleaming and I felt ill :( I was meant to go out to the beach with my friends today as they have hired a chalet, but because I didn't go it didn't stop my sister from going. That meant...a snuggly day with my mum and a hot water bottle (dad was at work). It was so nice of Kiefer Sutherland to keep us company all afternoon too! (AKA Jack Bauer in 24 series).

My blipping was held up today, but luckily my sister came to the rescue. She suggested that we head down to the south beach and and get some shots there as she'd seen the waves crashing over the harbour wall. Off we went and tried to stay dry as the waves did come crashing down next to us. You might be able to see a small ball in the background of this picture. Some poor child had obviously lost it during the day and the waves were throwing it around. I suppose that's what balls are for?!

As I've blipped our seaside looking so nice, I thought it would be good for you all to see it the way it is for a lot of the year!!!
