A lot less bovver

When I popped out into the garden this morning, the patch of nasturtiums and pot marigolds which I have as companion plants in my veg garden was alive with insects. An unmissable chance to practise with my macro and get a quick and easy blip into the bargain. I love how the stigmas show up as little stars in the close-up!
I've been busy doing a variety of catch-up jobs at home today, so it was nice to know that this pic was in the bag. a couple more shots here
