Emperor

Went back to Ulley today to see if I could get a shot of a dragonfly. Actually, I managed to get quite a few but they were mostly flying away from me. It was a glorious day, and as well as this fine Emperor dragonfly, there were lots of birds (great crested grebe, willow warbler, cormorant and even a buzzard on high) and butterflies (peacocks, gatekeepers, commas). I picked some rowan berries and crab apples and am in the process of making rowan berry jelly as I write. More pictures from today here
