My little Chickadee...

This morning, taking the Scottie boys out for their morning constitution, the bird chorus was most pleasing. The nasty crows that seem to endlessly annoy both the Scotties and myself with their boisterous "caw, caw, caw!" were nowhere to be found....making the morning even more wonderful!

The "twits and tweets" of tiny birds was so cheerful, it is hard to imagine anyone could awaken less than happy and filled with expectation and hope for a grand day.

Of all the beautiful little birds that frequent us here in the woods of Bristol, my favorite of all has remained the Black Cap Chickadee. With its happy little calls of "chick-a-dee-dee-dee", it remains year round and is ever present!
