Off to Pompeii, taking the bus to Sorrento before catching the Circumvesuviano train.

Because it takes us forever to escape the gravitational pull of the villa, we only have a couple of hours at the site - but this suits the boys perfectly. It seems to make a big impression on them all, and Mo and I notice a lot of things that seem even more impressive than when we were last here.

Some of the places seem eerily as if the people have just nipped out for a minute.

We have a meal on the main square in Sorrento before catching the last bus home - trying desperately to keep Andy and George awake for the journey!
