Maisie Comes To Hunters Tryst

'Maisie Comes to Morningside', published in 1984, was the first of a series of children's books by local author Aileen Paterson. Maisie the kitten lives with her Granny in a douce Morningside tenement while her explorer father is away on his travels. The stories and illustrations all reflect the characters and landmarks of the area.

Lothian Buses has decorated 10 of its new fleet on the number 5 route on a theme of 'Morningside Maisie', appearing in service on 11 July 2011. We spotted two of them at the Hunters Tryst terminus this morning. (Best seen in Large)
