Bowl Of Gooseberries.

A friend has asked if I could help pick her gooseberries sometime soon as they will be ready when her usual help will be away. I thought I'd better pick my own first.

The yield is poor, only about 2lbs. I've topped and tailed them and though they don't look too nice they'll make a nice fool and a crumble.

I expect the quality of my friend's fruit will be rather better.
