Cheap Dinner

It occured to me that the tadpoles/froglets might like to eat the gooseberry sawfly larvae (yesterday's blip) so I picked off as many as I could find then put them in the freezer before dousing the bushes with soapy water. A few more came off and were unceremoniously drowned. Then I counted them all - 200 of the wretched things! Plenty for every tadpole, if they wish.

Consequently the only photo I took was of the bargain from shopping yesterday. All it needed was a rasher of bacon, some onion, carrot and stock then pot roasting for a couple of hours. Delicious.
