FORWARD OSMOSUS

It was a tough day at the Birdie Office today - a very high tide (huge) and an extrremely high NW wind ( blustery) The birds were generally staying pretty close to their habitats ( and I dont blame them )

This In flight White Faced Heron was grabbed & I was off home to the coffee machine.
In-flight reminded me of those who are flying around the world at the moment in a rocket ship!
Its amazing to think one can go outside - look to the skys and see a moving satelite which might contain some humanity.

How do they drink and go wee's has always been a curiosity for me - but even more curious - they have just developed and are testing ( this time around) - a thing called " FORWARD OSMOSUS " - No idea what the words mean but apparantley they are testing a system where they do wee's and the system changes the urine into a very drinkable cocktale ( no pun intended ).

My birds dont have anything to do with this system they just poop - and it contains everything. hmmm! - interesting.
