Bright side

Apparently it has been very wet in Edinburgh while we were away to Lewis on holiday (Back Blips start here). So the garden has been kept well watered and I didn't have to come back to parched plants!

Pink petals (as in the petals of Pinks) can be candied but I haven't had the nerve to try it although I have instructions for doing it. You need to be careful to cut the heel (the little white bit that attaches the petal) off as it is very bitter.
