A whole new adventure....

Had an amazing and exciting morning this morning after final nightshift!!! Took myself off to the Botanic Gardens. I cannot imagine why I have never visited them before!!! I find my sheer lack of exploration in Glasgow quite bewildering these days!!! There is SO much I have never seen!!!!!!

It was a gorgeous morning...lovely blue skies, and I was there way before opening time, so wandered round outside, and sat in the sun drinking coffee!! Then I spent a couple of hours in the glass houses!!!! JUST FANTASTIC!!! There were blips everywhere!!!!!!!! The sun shining in, the backlit plants...I got about 10 glorious blips!!! But I loved this best, and will return and redo the others...DEFINETELY!!!!!!!!!

I can even READ and identify!!! LOL!!!!! So this is NOT a poppy!! It had lovely big, ground level thick leaves, covered in hairs!! It's flowers almost looked like penstemon. It's called....Chirita sinensis...and is Himalayan. AWESOME!!!!

Cannot wait to go back!!!! :-)))))))
