Ruffled feathers
Or rather eroded ones. This is what a little over a hundred years as done to this little guy, high up on the side of one of the buildings in Edinburgh's George Street. The building has a date on it - 1903 - next to a ship motif in the centre and a cockerel on the opposite side. I wonder what the significance of the three symbols was? This was Grays shop until it closed relatively recently - a shop from another era that had somehow survived into the new age. Was on George Street for a meeting at the George Hotel - fingers crossed, as it seemed to go reasonably well. Will say more when I hear, one way or the other...
