Croquet

Today after Loren's dentist appointment where he had some work on his front two teeth, we went to the park to try out the new croquet set that Nana and Papa had bought the boys. Loren and Liam were eager to try them and Landon was eager to go play in the sand. While they were playing croquet, I look over to see Landon climbing up on the TOP of the equipment (which is also at the top of my 'don't do' list of rules). Right when I call out to him to get down he loses hold and falls quite far down onto the metal floor of the equipment and lands mainly on his tailbone and then to his side. In a panic we leave the park thinking he may have broken something. I decide to head home instead of the hospital because it didn't seem like an emergency after all. Luckily after a while, the pain had subsided and I believe he's left with a bruised tailbone only and a sore leg. Praise the Lord...it could have been so much worse! Now he knows why I have the rule to only play on the part of the equipment that's MEANT to be played on. Unfortunately it was something he learned the hard way. :(
