Mock the Week (and a dalek)
We had tickets for a recording of the TV show 'Mock the Week' today. Guaranteed entry this time after our visit to 'Would I Lie To You' when we got split up ( Pinewood). Took the afternoon off so we could head off to London in good time. Managed a drink in a pub in the nearby Westfield Centre first and then went over to join the queue outside White City in the rain. The lovely audience hosts let us go in to the waiting room straight away and even knew why we had guaranteed seats this time. The waiting didn't seem too bad. The daleks are in the shop and cafe area of the BBC centre. They were happy for me to take photos in this area (I did ask) but past this bit, no photography is allowed.
The recording was great fun and the panel included some of our favourite comedians - Milton Jones and Ed Byrne. We had a good view and the studio was air-conditioned. We did get a bit stiff towards the end when they had to re-record some bits and we had to do some fill-in clapping and laughing. The show will be broadcast on Thursday this week - I hope Milton's joke about Monaco makes it to the final cut.
