Bubble LeadUp day 7 (last full day)
today is the last full day of LeadUp and its kind of sad.
Server for a day duties were split up between the different groups today and we had to clean again today which proved a bit tricky as we had no free time to do it in so we had to split it up into different pieces.
The morning seminar was one we could chose from 3 options and I took the one entitled leading a small group as it was something I had never done before. We then went on to have some one-to-one interviews with our group adviser and that was very encouraging in many ways. After lunch we had a seminar on "Being part of a team" and after a coffee break another one where we could ask questions about the summer and potential places we might go to serve in.
After a very interesting evening meal in which we were waited upon by our leaders (where I also took this photo of the bubbles) and lots of photo bombing done by various people, we had our final Bible teaching of the week. It was the best message of them all, very powerful and challenging but also encouraging in many ways.
EDIT: Here is the link to the blog of my friend.
The activity in the evening was a "talent" show which had various acts of hilarity. From lovely poems over Albi the Racist dragon to a strange song about a tortoise it had many great talents. the highlights were definitely the stand up comedy by our host and judges and the winning act of the russian interpretive dance. Hilarity ensued at this one.
