donuts LeadUp day 8 (departure)
The very last day of LeadUP and we left Altnacriche around noon.
After a last breakfast with everyone we had a final Group time dealing with Prayer/Encouraging & Commissioning. It was a great time and I really enjoyed the time with my group.
There was a final meeting with everyone before saying goodbye and heading of to transport to Aviemore. I will miss all of my new friends and hope to see them sometime again. Over all I think I have grown in a few ways over the past week and I'm willing to test new things out and take the risk of getting actively involved in a team, something I would never have dreamed of beforehand.
The bus journey back to Edinburgh was very good and after finding a seat close to friends who were also travelling down to E. I had a good conversation with them. I'm also very thankful for the conversation I had with one of them.
When I got home I was greeted by my family and the dog and I must say that its good to be home. We had some jelly pudding thing and self-made donuts for dinner which was great.
This week has taught me quite a few things about myself and I have overcome one fear which I've for quite a while now and its now sorted out, leaving me looking forward to what is to come. The experiences I've had will probably be useful for my life. But one thing I know for sure, God will make sure it all works out according to his plan and I'm happy to trust him. And I thank him for the friends I have and who I can trust with the things that bother me.
