Lacrosse

Sunday was the first Lacrosse game for the summer league. It's my son's new sport of choice. I've never seen a lacrosse game and he has never played before so it was an experience!

This sport is becoming very popular in our area. Its the first year our town was offered an opportunity to bring a team into the league. I'm not sure why The Kid (as we fondly call my son) decided to play.

Its an interesting and exciting game. Lots of action and fairly violent. I'm sure this is going to help The Kid improve his football skills. Seems like a lot of foot work. He did well catching the ball but passing is going to take a bit of practice.

Since I had never seen a game, I really wasn't sure how to shoot it. They played early evening so not a lot of sunlight to work with and its fast action. My camera gear is not cut out for low light fast action. The higher ISO is just too noisey. It may take a few games to get the hang of it.
