Determination

Today was the annual triathlon in Lake In The Hills, Illinois.

My sister was a competitor. The triathlon started at 6:30am at Indian Trail beach. She wouldnt appreciate me posting a picture of her at that hour of the morning...she was not awake until she hit the water. Its her first competition of the season and her goal was to simply finish the race. The time or place didnt matter. She did finish and did very well.

Unfortunately, I had an old course map from a previous year and they changed the route. (You think they would have updated the website!) I missed my sister crossing the finishline. I arrived about a minute too late. So disappointing! But, I'll get it next time.
