......First Response training for Scouts today. First Response is like First Aid for Dummies (ahem). Clearly, our Resusci Anne clothing was designed before white trainers and shell suits became de rigueur with Kirkgate addicts.

Good session with entertaining tutor David. He's a real Scout....born in Gilwell Park (Scout HQ) and a veteran of expeditions to the Malaysian Highlands. It's not often we have to contend with deadly spider bites in Leith.

Walked home and even found myself removing my jacket in the warm late afternoon sunshine. Nancy and Owen are at the beach.
