......for North Berwick......a bit cold to start but as the day wore on, it got nicer and nicer. Good to see a number of blip chums at the Blipatbeach event orgsnised by SooB; thanks for that mate. It was just getting going when I had to be back in North Berwick to pick up a group of extremely tired but happy Beavers in my bus for the journey back to Edinburgh. Super day out...but it wasn't done yet.

As Owen was out with chums, N and I sat out at JPs and supped Chilean Sauvignon Blanc and chewed the fat of our plate of olives. An old dame, must have been 70 if she was a day, sat down and regaled us with her view of life from the far end of the empire and right wing politics....nice old bird...for a Tory.

Congrats to the Scots boys for another win in Argentina, first time we've won a test series away from home since 1982......great result.
