The patient is recovering
Holly was injured by a black Labrador before we went away on holiday. The wound in her neck/throat was quite nasty, but she could not resist gnawing at the stitches. A lampshade collar was no use - Holly could always find a way of knocking it off. When we last saw her - just before we went to Melfort - she was wearing a T-shirt and a thick roll-on collar to protect the injuries.
Today, the patient has come top let Jess & Molly know that she is getting on much better. The cut is still visible, but does not require bandaging any more. Molly is a little squeamish and does not want to examine the injuries close-up, but Jess is a bit more curious. We all wish Holly well.
