In Between Days

I've been surprised by how much you can read on a one hour bus journey. I don't normally read on the bus but I had one of my holiday reads to finish and I was surprised to find I could read the last third in two days on the bus. It also made the dull journey a lot more bearable.

Now shopping is very similar to getting the bus to work, especially the waiting outside the shop bit. That dull waiting feeling is uncannily similar. So when I was called on to go shopping today I saw an opportunity - why not take a book! And it worked! Whilst the others browsed the shops I could sit in the sunshine and read a little. I must try this again.

Alana was asked if she wanted to go stay with her cousin in their caravan for the weekend. She couldn't as she had a party to go to but instead we put Louis forward and so he has gone. He was so excited. Hopefully he will have a nice time.

I'm glad its the weekend. Work has been a little stressful due to some changes regarding what I will be doing over the coming months but things are in place now and hopefully some positive things will come from them. It will be challenging and although I'm a little apprehensive I look forward to it.
