Lower Your Sights.. But Raise Your Aim

My lavendar is a bit of a let down this year. I think the exceptional heat in April, followed by a return to winter in May confused a lot of the plant life.

Now June is here, and the days are slightly warmer, it's coming back to life, but not quite as bushy and budded as I'd like.

I was pulling the grass fronds from in the middle of it (there was so much of it, it was threatening to hide what little lavendar there was); and I spotted this little chappie, clinging on for grim death.

Not one to decant someone when it isn't necessary, I gave the grass pulling up, and came back inside for a cup of tea.

I wonder where he'll be tomorrow? there is a bit of a gust. Do you think anyone has ever thought to microchip one of these buggars?
