You Know I told You That.... I'd never

I thought this week, that I had reached that point where I was adult.

But it passed.

I ranted and raved for a bit, laid down the law, stewed in my own mood for a bit, and then I was back.

I just want people to try as hard as they can. Give everything they have got 85% of the time.

Sometimes I see people on the TV, or I hear them on the radio, and I think, that person has reached adulthood. They talk sense. They talk knowledgably about their subject. They sound confident. And they sound assured.

I betcha they never flash at their other half to get a good Photo!

I betcha they never scream from one end of the street to the other "Tell your Mummy that you love her", at their teenage children, in front of all their friends.

I betcha they never throw their arms around their children at the end of a sports game and cheer in delight.

I might not be as sensible as other parents, but bloody hell, I want to enjoy my life, and if you ever hear me talking sense about anything - do me a favour and wake me up.

Now, i must take my leave of you, because the evening air in the garden is beckoning, and my bosums want to see the moon!
