That's Amore
The Minions have had a busy day today. For the older two it was the nursery trip to Playzone soft play. Unfortunately because of the younger ones I wasn't allowed to go with them. Naturally I was devastated to be missing out on the bus trip with 26 over excited pre schoolers, the inevitable emergency pull over into a lay-by so that one of them could meet their breakfast for a second time and the couple of hours of manic screaming before doing it all again on the way back. In the past I always hoped for a peaceful afternoon from tired children. I've now come to realise that this just doesn't happen and instead they spend the rest of the day in a state of frenzied excitement, not knowing what to do with themselves until finally crumbling into a grumpy, exhausted heap.
And then it was swimming. The weekly battle for the changing cubicles, fight for the showers and all out war to get Minion number one to allow me to wash her hair.I'm surprised there aren't more drownings at public swimming pools. Still, we came back for home made pizza and this is Minion number one proudly showing off her efforts. Nice end to the working week.
Quote of the day: "I swam on my own for 20 hundred hours" Minion number one aged five. Don't think they've covered time yet at nursery.
