Got my next commitment from BT! Arriving tomorrow morning between 8 and 10. Shan't hold my breath, but ever hopeful.

B and I went to Kempton Market for a few odds and sods. It always amuses us, best not to explain why for fear of appearing as snobs. It serves a great purpose though. On the way out, we were collared by a gypsy who read our future, gave us some heather and made us wish upon her 'stone'. Some sort of lucky or mystical stone - sorry, not up with gypsy traditions or folk lore - and warned us we should not wish for money, for it would not happen, then promptly asked us to cross her palm with paper to make it come true!

She made B happy if only for 5 minutes, so it was worth it, even if it's bull!

We finished up with a few drinks this evening in the Anglers at Teddington Lock with Tom and M. Beautiful evening, perfect temperature, best company, like fools on the hill, we watched the sun going down. At peace, until tomorrow.
