Relieved
Found out this morning that my Nana didn't have an aneurysm, it is a hiatus hernia behind her heart. It can be treated with tablets so she doesn't need an operation at all! She, along with the rest of us are very relieved. My sister, Shell, picked her up from the hospital this morning and then spent most of the day with her. Nana is feeling a lot better which is great!
I dropped Spence off at daycare this morning and went to Traralgon to work on the house again. I sanded the laundry and back entrance and put 'no more gaps' in the hall, bedroom and nearly all the lounge until I ran out!! The antenna man came today and took down the old antenna and put up a new one with a point in the lounge, and Steve the bathroom guy also came and put the bathroom door and jam back on! It is all coming together!
Kaz and I will drop Spence off at daycare on Friday and then go to the house and start painting!! We are hoping to have finished painting the whole house by the end of Monday! We will see how we go! Cheryl (Kaz's Mum) is coming down on Saturday to stay until Monday to look after Spence which will be very helpful!
The electrician is coming back on Friday to finish his jobs and Dad is coming over at some stage in the four days to install the air conditioner! Steve is coming back on Saturday to start tiling the walls of the bathroom and the plumber will come back once Steve has finished tiling!
Kaz has an extensive spreadsheet with itemised tasks and formulas to work out our budget and timeline! Last night we were 19% complete and nearly $3,000 under budget!! We are going pretty well! We have given ourselves 10 weeks to complete it and we are nearly 20% done in 2 weeks so on track to be 100% complete in 10 weeks!! We will see!!
I took this on the way to work tonight. The fog had started to roll in even before the sun had set! This was taken at 5.17pm just after the sun had gone behind the hills! I was driving at the time and managed to take this as I was going past the tree!
