In Between Days

Flying

I've been intending to post this entry for a while. The view from the plane window as we headed towards Turkey.

I recall a bit of a panic at the airport as I thought we would be late. In turns out that we were not that late, as we were told a three hour check in and we were there in two and a half I think but we were too late I the sense that there were no seats together. I see it as unfair to have to pay the extra money to guarantee this but might consider it in future. It's just an extra sixty pounds which annoys me as something which you shouldn't have to pay for. But the stress removal may be worth the cost. Anyway as we had young kids they couldn't very well split us up so they had little choice but to give us some of the spare extra legroom seats, which were very nice.

The flight was about four hours which went a bit quicker than I imagined it would. I don't like flying but it's through a fear of boredom rather than anything else. The transfer was about an hour and we were in our room and changed in time for tea. Louis always picks me up if I refer to the evening meal as dinner! Having dinner time at school confuses things for him!

Room 1111 is where we are. Very economical with space but clean and new will do just fine.
