Last one -- Woohoo!

This isn't a pretty picture, but it was something that everyone gave a cheer for. In the past several years, the number of committees and the number of meetings has multiplied. Some of that was necessary to transition our campus to become a college. We are now a college, not just a satelite campus and almost everyone thinks it is time to reduce the number of meetings. Almost everything that was spoken about in today's meeting could have been addressed in an email, except for the grand finale when one of the Vice Presidents spoke appreciations and gave awards to several who have gone above and beyond during this school year. Then the meeting concluded. One week from today begins Final Exams. Two weeks from now is commencement.

Tomorrow begins the three day Memorial Day weekend with Monday as the official holiday. It also begins our anniversary weekend. We discovered today that we could get the pups boarded at a nice facility and one that's not too expensive, so tomorrow we're going to drop below the radar screen and make our get-a-way. No one knows we're headed outta here, so don't tell anyone, okay?! That's a deal.

I'll report in hopefully tomorrow evening to give the update. Our goal is to be somewhere near the ocean. I'm so excited!
