Mugged

Seconds after this picture was taken, this defenceless old lady was mugged by a notorious gang of pigeons. They had been silently stalking her and chose to attack her the moment she turned round and opened her bag. They took her completely by surprise in a frenetic and gratuitous display of callous bread-eating,
leaving the old lady stunned, and with a completely empty bag within minutes. When she left the scene, she was standing 12 inches taller.

This sort of thing happens in our parks and open spaces too many times, and in my opinion, something should be done about it. I'm just glad that Archie and Henry were young enough not to understand what was happening.
We all had to come home for our lunch in order to recover from witnessing this traumatic event.
