Steal me
The local town museum had a photo exhibition this afternoon, so we trolled down to take a decco.
Two local photographers had been down the seaside and taken a rather nice set of pictures - the really great thing about it being that they took everything in digital and printed everything up on inkjet printers. These old boys were bought up in the film age, but realised that everything they used to do in the darkroom can now be done on the computer, so they hocked all their old kit and bought a computer.
The injet prints were excellent, although I suppose I've been a bit spoilt by seeing the magnificence of exhibition quality silver gelatin and huge chromagenic (type "C") prints that knock these inkjet jobbies into a cocked hat.
However, thet were bluddy good and any of them would have got wall space in my house.
Outside the gallery were two unlocked bicycles that I really hope were still there when the owners came out. I would have taken a picture in the gallery, but it was strictly forbidden. Only a callous criminal would do that...
