Bread and Cheese anyone? Have you had yours yet??

This is an old country tradition that goes back countless generations and may possibly have roots in my ancient gypsy past. Every year since I was a nipper it's been a custom to eat the first opening leaves of the Hawthorn bush. Trust me, they are quite tasty and harmless.

I'm glad to see my girls still keeping up with this!
