no shoes

We went to go and get some sandals for Amelie today as her little feet have been hot in her shoes with socks on. She tried on two lovely white pairs in Clarks and a pair of doodles sandals but all three were far too tight on her feet, especially the white ones as they don't do them in a G width. The lady suggested we try Startrite sandals or we could buy some from a shop that don't specialise in shoes as they tend to come up bigger. Mothercare was just round the corner so we popped in and got these for her in a size 5 (the size 4s were just too small, needed a half size really). I do like them but part of me still wishes she had been fitted properly for them and so I am going to hunt down some startrite ones for her. What a mission!

When we came home and I tried to photograph her new shoes she immediately started stamping! Its one of her new walking tricks (along with walking backwards and stooping down whilst walking...much to our amusement). It was so funny and this picture makes me laugh!
