Hanging on

I've had a good day today. First off, I went off to see my kitchen man to talk about flooring - something I've been meaning to get around to for ages. I've come away with a brochure and I just need to decide on the colour I want.

Then I went off for a walk with Bittersweet in the Surrey countryside, followed by a delicious aubergine parmigiana and a nice cup of coffee in her garden in the sun. Very relaxing.

After a quick trip to Homebase, I came home with some preservative for the fences (to be started tomorrow) and some hooks for the kitchen to hang the tea towels on, which have now been drilled into the wall.

An all round successful day.
