Hi ho hi ho it's off to school I go!

He is so desperate to follow in his big brother's footsteps.

This was taken after collecting Son One from footie this afternoon. Son Two grabbed his book bag and made a beeline for school, obviously keen to be early. 3 and a half years early ;-)




Collected a very muddy looking and tired Son One from school yesterday, but he'd clearly had a whale of a time. I asked if he'd missed me, "NO!", TPD asked him the same question later on and got "Not even a little bit!" in return. Despite his protestations about not being tired, he went to sleep pretty quickly and was frankly a pain in the arse to wake up this morning. Details I have managed to glean so far are that they explored a bog "NOT a toilet!", had a campfire in the roundhouse, counted minibeasts, learned about different types of trees, and set traps for moths - the last bit was his favourite, because one landed on his arm when they set them free :-)
