Possibly

one of the oddest things I have ever seen.

Minding my own business pushing a snoring Son Two through the woods at Fritham and there, dangling in mid-air before me, was a caterpillar. He (she?) was bright green, but you can't see that in the pic. Crappy phone-cam too, so it's more than a bit blurred.

Eventually I reallised it was attached to one of the nearby trees with the thinnest line of spider silk, but it was really quite freaky!

Training walk this morning was the first time it has felt like a chore. Maybe I didn't have enough breakfast or something, but my legs felt like lead. Son Two enjoyed himself though, highlight for him was running along waving at his shadow :-)
