No 70: Golden Plover

A distant shot, heavily cropped of this beautiful bird, so not showing its true splendour. Never mind. My plans for today fell through so as it was a glorious day and I was tempted by the sight of the onward journey from this spot I decided to do the next leg (no 3) of the Sheffield Country Walk, or a slightly shorter version of it, as I discovered last time to my cost, that the bus at the official end of this leg only runs on bank holidays. Also saw wheatesr, curlew, meadow pipits and a lizard.
