No 69 Whitethroat

I was heartened today by not only seeing this warbler, but identifying it and getting a photo; not the sharpest, or the most glamorous location, atop a tv aerial in Dronfield, but hey, it's no 69 and a lifer (unless of course someone puts me straight).
I am doing the Sheffield Country walk for the second time. Today I did leg 2, which is a relatively gentle 5 miles through farmland and woodland, with the odd bit of suburbia for good measure. Plenty of butterflies around when the wind dropped and the sun came out. The spring flowers are looking very fine, and everything is at its freshest green. I also saw a buzzard circling overhead. Looking forward to the next 2 legs which will take me over some of the finest moorland. A few more photos here
