when I'm cleaning windows...

So, today we did touristy things in Hamburg - our adult hosts had to go to work (what's all that about, eh?) and we dropped the youngest host at kindergarten and headed into town for a spot of sightseeing. We took the bus-boat thing along the Elbe as a way of getting into the city centre and also seeing loads of things. And this was one of the things we saw - not massively touristy but interesting all the same. The thing you can't see in the picture is the sheer drop from the building they're abseiling from 100ft or so into the river. Eeek.

The rest of the day was great also, pootling around the centre of Hamburg, taking in the Spice Museum, the Rathaus and seemingly hundreds of bridges...
