Blowing in the wind
The sun came out.
The temperature soared into the 70s.
And the wind blew this cardinal's 'do all askew, much to his dismay!
We had a temporary reprieve from our cool rainy weather today, but more of that is expected tonight and tomorrow. Today was delightful though and gives us hope that the clouds won't last forever.
Despite the saturated ground, flooded basements, and the news that we set a record here in northeast Ohio for the wettest April ever, we are blessed. I am so sorry for the people in Missouri and Arkansas whose lives have been torn apart by tornadoes and floods. We just drove through that area on our trip to and from Arizona, and I'm thankful we arrived back home when we did. There have been few fatalities there but much destruction. My prayers are with them.
