Remains of the day
The day started at 6.08am when squeaks and squeals came from the bedroom of the One Who Had Just Remembered the Easter Bunny. It was quite an early start for the One Who Went to Bed at 1.30am. But anyway, it's Easter innit, so no complaints.
Day carried on with breakfast bread baking, table setting, chocolate scoffing, breakfast eating (with help for cousins and aunties, uncles etc), then playing and chatting and then chatting and playing and then some sitting on the patio in the sun and caking eating then a nice tramp down to the river, paddling, stone-throwing, hiking home to make more bread and a fire to grill sausages and a thirst for the beer cooling and more chocolate and skating, dog and cat stroking, swinging and sliding, seed planting, packing up and going home, off to sleep with black feet and grubby faces whilst mummy sits by the fire with one last coffee before she goes to the valley of the washing up, clearing up, blip choosing and newspaper reading.
It took me ages to choose today's blip, so much happened and I didn't even leave home.
