it's a hard life

eating chocolate, paddling in the river, living somewhere that my eldest just said "it's like living in the Shire*" about....we're so downtrodden...

*not sure if she means the Hobbit's Shire or the proper Shire (Pembrokeshire)? But I agree either way.
