Bring me flesh and bring me wine

A reflective kind of day thinking about which of the photos I've posted to Blip over the last 104 days I can still remember, off the top of my head, and why.

I guess they are the ones where, when I've uploaded them, I get a little 'kick' in the pit of my stomach. Ones with texture, or brightness. But there really is something - for me - about black and white, although I don't know what it is.

I felt that little 'kick' starting as soon as I saw the subject of today's blip. In colour it seemed almost obscene. In black and white I believe it has a certain beauty.

We shall eat it for supper tonight, with a nice bottle of red.
