Treasure chest

One of about half a dozen rosewood boxes of varying sizes and designs that came from Roland's grandfather's house about 20 years ago. They are so lovely that we use them to store odds and sods. A glove box is perfect for keeping pens, pencils and drawing materials in.

This particular box contains bits of history from the local area which includes a Holy Trinity parish magazine from May 1947. On the back page is an advert for Hurn the chemist which was situated just round the corner from where we live. In fact, it's still there.
