Where shall we go today?

.....Orkney via Dunnet Head it would appear.

The morn' started with 'pishing rain' as they say in some parts. So, the boy wonder and I headed east in search of amusement and good weather. A visit to a blustery northernmost precipice of mainland Britain got us thinking about visiting the northernmost precipice of mainland Orkney and so we went for it.

The ferry crossing was swift and the guest house on the isles warm and welcoming.
