Back in Black....

....and so Friday 13th draws to a close and Stig finally paid his respects to his favourite singer in Fremantle Cemetery today. Robert Belford Scott lived fast and died young at 33.

Thence to Perth for lunch and coffee and a good long visit to the Museum of Western Australia. Nice museum with some really well presented kids stuff. The hall dedicated to the history of WA's indigenous population was fascinating and harrowing in equal measure.

On a much lighter note, as I was standing waiting for Nancy to arrive back from a shopping foray, I bumped into Sam Laing, a former Widows colleague. She emigrated to Oz a number of years ago and it was one of those 'wee world' moments.

This evening, a large contingent of family and friends gathered at Tricia's for pizza, pasta and a blether. Aunty Janet is off on an extended holiday and we're off to Singapore tomorrow, so it was really good to catch-up with most of the family and friends in advance of our departure.

Not looking forward to the airport tomorrow
