Breakfast Bouquet
As the window shades were lifted next to the kitchen table this morning, I sat quietly sipping my coffee enjoying the silence and the simple wonder of light coming through the amaryllis that sits just outside the window.
The three pups were busy -- each enjoying a bowl of breakfast. The lack of "hurry-up" and "rush" during this spring break morning is a seldom enjoyed Tuesday experience. Every element contributed to a beautiful breakfast bouquet.
I knew that just around the corner of the house are two brand new his & hers matching sheds -- so I looked at these two stunning flowers, with two whales behind them in the pool, and I mentioned it to Mr. Fun and he said, "Hey, we've got at least two tandem bicycles in the garage." This Tuesday was turning into thoughts of "two."
Then the three pups finished their munching and wanted the door to the patio opened. Quickly my thoughts of "two" were gone and the day was launched.
Good night from Southern California.

P.S. Thanks for the fun comments regarding the his & hers sheds yesterday. He's still convinced that an "over-nighter" is definitely a future event. I'm thinking maybe on a warm summer night with a full moon and a dip in the pool about 3:00 a.m. just to keep the neighbors wondering "What in the world . . . are they doing now?"
