Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

His and Hers

(Click the magnifying glass on the tool bar under the photo -- it sort of helps! and then read the P.S. at the end of this message.)

Certainly there is something wrong with us -- couples we know are buying his and hers Harley motorcycles. Not us! We are genuine geeks! We purchased his and hers storage sheds. I'm real excited. I think he is too.

I have so much stuff that I'm just not ready to part ways with, and I am so glad to unpack the closets and have some work and storage space out of the house, but not down the road at a storage place. We had room in our backyard, so we thought it seemed like something to do.

We've wanted to do it for a long time, so when the sales rep phoned from the factory a few weeks back to let us know that they were having a tremendous once-a-year sale, we went to their show room to see what our options were. We decided we liked the tall style with the inside loft and below that the wrap around work bench.

He's already asked me if sometime soon I'd spend the night with him in his. Now you know we are total goobers! If we were teenagers, I might consider his invitation. But we're not, so I probably won't. It's just a long walk in the middle of the night when I have to go -- you know! Because these sheds didn't come with modern conveniences. I mean they aren't cabins; they are sheds!

If he ever convinces me, I'm sure I'll blip the moment.

Good night from Southern California.

P.S. I know it is impossible to see the tiny photos in this collage. But we can see them because we watched it all coming together. Well actually he watched (with camera in hand). I just listened all day -- hammering, drilling, sawing -- lots of noise. So when we look back on this a year or so from now with our magnifying glass, we'll look at each other and laugh.
